The American Statistical Association (ASA), the nation’s preeminent professional statistical society, announced that IDIES affiliate, Elizabeth Stuart is among those being honored as an ASA Fellow. Honorees are being recognized for outstanding professional contributions to and leadership in the field of statistical science.

Dr. Stuart has also been named as Chair of the newest multi-stakeholder advisory panel with the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI), which will focus on clinical trials and rare disease respectively. In this role she will lead her respective panel in providing PCORI expertise on the design and implementation of randomized controlled trials and research priorities in the area of rare disease.
